2. Animal Husbandry – Veterinary Surgeon

- Purchase of medicines for the veterinary hospital.
- Contingency expenses of the veterinary hospital.
- Other animal husbandry and livestock development activities.
These projects were implemented using funds from the General Fund and other grants.
3. Health Sector – Medical Officers (PHC/CHC/Homoeopathy/Ayurveda)
Major projects:
- Palliative care services.
- Financial assistance for treatment of economically disadvantaged dialysis patients.
- Renovation and improvement of health centres.
- Contingency expenses of health institutions.
- Purchase of medicines for Homoeopathic and Ayurvedic dispensaries.
4. Social Welfare and Housing – VEO & ICDS
LIFE Mission Housing:
Substantial amounts were allocated and utilised for housing construction for both General and Scheduled Caste (SC) beneficiaries.
Other major projects:
- Making houses habitable for SC and General category beneficiaries.
- Construction of study rooms.
- Distribution of nutritious food to children in Anganwadis.
- Scholarships for persons with physical and mental disabilities.
- Renovation and improvement of Anganwadi centres.
5. Fisheries and Other Employee Benefits
Support was provided to the fisheries sector through the “Muttathoru Meenthottam” (A Fish Pond in Every Courtyard) project.
The report also includes expenditure towards:
- Remuneration of Anganwadi workers.
- Salaries/wages of Project Assistants.
- Other employee-related benefits and payments.
6. Infrastructure Development and Public Works – Assistant Engineer
A major portion of the projects in the report relates to the renovation, concreting and maintenance of rural roads.
Major works included:
- Vattakkannan Road development.
- Expansion of the Cherukunnu Drinking Water Project.
- Repair and maintenance of the public crematorium.
- Installation and maintenance of street lights and high-mast lights in various wards.
- Other road and public infrastructure development works.
The report also includes matters relating to the provision of land for the Pampady Bus Stand.

The Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for 2022–2023 was implemented by Pampady Grama Panchayat by giving balanced importance to infrastructure development, particularly roads and drinking water, as well as social security measures such as housing, medical assistance and nutrition.
