Summary of the Implementing Officer-wise Expenditure Report related to the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan (2012–2013) of Pampady Grama Panchayat
1. Agriculture Department (Agriculture Officer)
Funds were allocated for projects such as agricultural mechanization, comprehensive rat control, homestead farming development, agricultural knowledge dissemination, and website modernization.
A significant amount was earmarked for Comprehensive Homestead Farming Development. Out of the total allocation of ₹1,031,200, ₹615,125 was spent.
2. Veterinary Surgeon
A total of ₹2,380,000 was allocated for various animal husbandry-related projects, of which ₹2,100,000 was spent.
3. Health Department (Medical Officers)
- PHC/CHC: Funds were spent on palliative care and public health services. Out of the total allocation of ₹197,017, the entire amount was utilized.
- Homoeopathy: ₹100,000 was allocated for various projects, and the entire amount was spent.
- Ayurveda: Out of the total allocation of ₹300,000, the full ₹300,000 was spent.
4. Social Welfare Department (ICDS Supervisor)
Anganwadis
A substantial amount was allocated for nutritional food for Anganwadi children, gas connections, installation of water tanks, and building maintenance and repairs.
For nutritional food for Anganwadi children, ₹2,000,000 was allocated, of which ₹1,988,549 was spent.
Assistance for Persons with Physical and Mental Disabilities
An amount of ₹444,000 was allocated for assistance to persons facing physical and mental challenges, and the entire amount was utilized.
5. Infrastructure Development and Public Works (Assistant Engineer – LSGD)
A large amount of funding was utilized for road concreting, road re-tarring, construction of check dams, and stream protection works.
The projects included the development of several rural roads, such as:
- Moolakkara–Ayyan Koyikkal Road
- Chethimattam–Reethupally Road
- K.G. College Road
- Various other rural roads
An amount of ₹7,200,000 had been allocated for the construction of the Panchayat Office Building; however, according to this report, no expenditure was recorded for this project.
Overall, under this category, ₹23,493,066 was allocated, of which ₹13,074,013 was spent.
6. Other Major Projects (Village Extension Officer / Panchayat)
Other important projects included:
- Solid waste management
- Waste treatment at source
- Maintenance of streetlights and installation of meters
- Marriage assistance for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SCP/TSP) beneficiaries
- Construction of toilets
- Housing renovation
- Construction and maintenance of wells
- EMS loan repayment: ₹1,169,180
- SSA (Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan) fund: ₹467,096
Under the Dairy Farm Inspector, ₹555,595 was allocated for incentives in the dairy sector, of which ₹555,580 was spent.
